Long before the Breakfast Adventure Club, I used to mix drinks. With the summer wedding season fast approaching, this easy drinking martini makes a perfect accompaniment to a brunch. Best served outside, in the sun (which is always past the yard-arm somewhere…)
Ingredients (Makes 1 Martini)
- 1 shot Chase Marmalade Vodka
- 1 shot Leopolds Gin
- Half a lemon (Juiced)
- 2 tsp Marmalade (Dundee produces the best marmalade in the world)
- 1 Toast soldier
Instructions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the ingredients, be generous with the marmalade! Shake well until the cocktail shaker is frosted on the outside. Strain into a coupe glass. To garnish, spread a thin layer of marmalade on a toast soldier (a slice of toast about finger width) and balance on the glass. Enjoy together for a breakfast worthy of Hemingway!
